“Hi Katherine! I have wanted to thank you for all that you have done and will do! I have retired after 42 years of teaching and as you know I have participated in GAP for many years. It has been such a privilege! This year's exchange has been the icing on the cake! What a joy for all involved! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
“The third graders were given the assignment to write the 5 senses of peace. They wrote what peace looks like, feels like, tastes like, smells like, and sounds like. They edited their compositions then transferred them to a word bubble. A translation (Google) was completed and all were glued to their self-portraits. A school photo was attached and I had all laminated and shipped off to China! So exciting for the children to receive the books that arrived later from their GAP partner school in China! Thank you again!”
