In the Circle We Are All Equal

“I have three groups of artists. Each spent several weeks collecting plastic lids of various shapes and sizes. We then made art on 5' diameter circles using the colored lids. Our inspiration was the Native American saying, ‘In the circle, we are all equal. No one is above, no one is below. No one is in front, no one is behind’.
“I had a poster made showing some of our circle art. In the gift we sent to Morocco, we included the lids, along with the saying and our poster. I will attach photos of our exchange partners in Morocco creating their own circle art from the lids we sent.
“Thank you for the opportunity to be peace in the world!”
