IF WE RAISE OUR SONS TO LOVE PEACE, THERE WILL BE NO MORE WAR

Sue Hammond
Springfield, Ohio, USA

“My work is a photograph of my sons’ arms over each other's shoulders walking down the orphans home farm road. I grew up in that orphanage. The picture was taken in 1991 but the altered work was done in Photoshop years later to turn it into a watercolor.

“I chose this work because I feel so strongly that if we raise our sons to love peace, war would cease. By far the people in charge of starting wars are men. Come on mothers everywhere, make peace be a first priority concept to inculcate into our young people and CHANGE THE WORLD.

“Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of such a fine program.” ~ Sue Hammond
